Wahaha!

Sooooooooo I get to make the FIRST POST OF 2013 ON HERE!!! :D I actually got on here to do something else but no one has posted on here in so long that I thought, "Why not?"
Not really sure what to talking about but, first off HAPPY NEW YEAR! I hope you all had an amazing 2012! Mine was great! With probably the BIGGEST high light being when Katy and her mom came out for a visit!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

 It was an AWESOME TIME TOGETHER!!!!!!!!! :) And Rejelle got to hang out with us which made the time THAT much better!!!! :)

 Yeah we had a LOT of fun!!! :)

A lot of other stuff happened this year, like my cute little niece Amy Colleen was born! :)

And hey the world did not end like some people said it would so that was nice! :)

The trouble with blogs is that once in a while they just die. Once that happens...first you don't totally notice and then you do and it doesn't altogether bother you and then you just start realizing how sad it is that you've ignored your blog's well-being. Don't say that sounds sappy even though it does. I'm serious! I can help my blog from being dead by actually, I don't know, POSTING?? ;)

Wasn't sure what to post about so I'm posting about Batman!!!!! Don't know who's aware of this but the new Batman movies are awesome!! I'm hoping the third one will be awesome too!! Who's going to see it in the theater? I am and I can't wait!!!! :) So excited--and you know what else? I'm totally ready...

...because I have a Batman shirt!!! :)

Anyway, I suggest you consider going to see Batman: The Dark Knight Rises because I think it's going to be awesome!!! :)

awesome time in the Midwest!

 Last week was so much fun and so interesting. My mom and I went to the top of the St. Louis Arch and into the depths of the Mark Twain Cave and Cameron Cave in Hannibal, MO. Best of all, I FINALLY got to meet my two awesome cuz-friends in PERSON! :

After they came and got us at the airport, our great friends took us to the St. Louis Arch, a.k.a the Gateway to the West. This is a picture of the terrific trio :) at the top of the Arch. L-R: Rene, Preciosa, me!:)

 

 Where'd all my hair go????? Good question. The day after we arrived, I had 10 inches cut off to donate to Locks of Love. Preciosa is also donating, and so are her mom and sister! :) By the time my hair was all done, more than 10" had actually been cut off because after the ponytail came off my hair was layered and thinned. This is me and my mom smiling for the camera at the Mark Twain Cave!

 

Whoa! Long hair again! This is at the St. Louis airport; we had to wait a long time for our 2 suitcases and we were so excited we could help all this smiling, hugging, laughing, and posing for photos! :)

               You all probably remember Katy's post having fun! where she posted some pictures of how long her beautiful hair is getting...well I said that I'd try to post some of how long my hair is getting. So... here they are! :)

Oh and my phone's camera makes me go crazy, sorta like Katy's camera on her computer! ;)

...and then I realized that in the other pictures you couldn't really see my hair so I took another where you could see it better...aka I took the dark jacket/shirt off and put on a lighter color. ;)

I was just listening to music and thought I'd take a pic to show how long my hair's getting (I'm hoping to donate it to Locks of Love with my friend (cousin!) Preciosa in June.  The picture I took, my hair's wet so it looks a bit longer than it is in real life, but honestly, it's longer than I've let it get in the past two years or so.  Also thicker...it's getting a bit harder to keep it free from tangles as I've not had it layered in a while.Anyway the pic of my hair turned into taking three other rather silly pictures that I took for fun!

 I'm wearing my shawl because I washed my hair and I felt SOO cold and it was lying on my chair anyway!! :) Anyway it's sorta hard to see my hair but...trust me that's longer than I've let it get in a couple of years before having it cut off and layered.

 Elijah Wood impression!! :) You're not lucky enough to get the whole thing though...the entire impression is to do this and say, "Sam..."

 WOOHOOO! I look like I'm grooving. Or something.

As you can see, my camera computer can make me go a bit more crazy than usual!! :)
