awesome time in the Midwest!

 Last week was so much fun and so interesting. My mom and I went to the top of the St. Louis Arch and into the depths of the Mark Twain Cave and Cameron Cave in Hannibal, MO. Best of all, I FINALLY got to meet my two awesome cuz-friends in PERSON! :

After they came and got us at the airport, our great friends took us to the St. Louis Arch, a.k.a the Gateway to the West. This is a picture of the terrific trio :) at the top of the Arch. L-R: Rene, Preciosa, me!:)

 

 Where'd all my hair go????? Good question. The day after we arrived, I had 10 inches cut off to donate to Locks of Love. Preciosa is also donating, and so are her mom and sister! :) By the time my hair was all done, more than 10" had actually been cut off because after the ponytail came off my hair was layered and thinned. This is me and my mom smiling for the camera at the Mark Twain Cave!

 

Whoa! Long hair again! This is at the St. Louis airport; we had to wait a long time for our 2 suitcases and we were so excited we could help all this smiling, hugging, laughing, and posing for photos! :)

This is me a loooong time ago in Cape Cod, Massachusetts. I am BAD at guessing ages, but I guess I'm probably around 9 years old.  There's this beach in Cape Cod that we love because it's really out of the way; you have to hike to get there; there's usually hardly anyone at this beach, especially off-season, when we usually go to Cape Cod.  There's these dunes that my brothers and I loved to run around and jump on.

In 2006, we took our first trip to the Black Hills of South Dakota and we went to Wyoming, too!!  Devil's Tower is soo cool!!!  I would love to go back there sometime!  This is, from L-R, my mom, me, my dad, and Daniel.

what's up w/ me?? i hope this doesn't bore you!

hey everyone! Anyway so i wanted to put a post on my blog so I thought i'd give you an update one what's up w/ me. LOL so like I said in the title I hope this doesn't bore you. OK so here goes...(nothing! ;) lol jk)
I'm taking the PSAT at a nearby high school on Saturday. I am nervous and will be so glad and relieved when it is over. Of course then once I finish Algebra I have to do the SAT but....;)
Festival Chorus is going well. The chorus is actually smaller this semester...our director wanted to have it smaller.
Our kitten Pippin is growing well and is both a joy and a nuisance as all kittens are.
The horse I help take care of, J, injured his knee last month but seems to have almost completely healed from it.
Finally, have a picture I took while we were at Mt. Desert Island in Maine this past summer. This sign was almost right across from the driveway of the cottage we were staying in. Who knew there was a real Easy Street? Bye!!
