Wait. Isn't it too early for Christmas music? Well, maybe! That hasn't stopped me from listening to it recently, though...including today! hehe...The truth is, I love Christmas music, and lately I've been enjoying listening to it once in a while. My favorite Christmas album is probably MercyMe's Christmas album. They took a bunch of awesome Christmas songs, mostly ones that are really well-known, and rocked them up (Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is on it too...and that one doesn't need to be rocked up that much but still I love their version of it!) Anyway, who else listens to Christmas music off-season? What are your favorite Christmas albums/songs?
I also am excited about singing Christmas carols and playing Christmas music on the piano! I have to wait a bit longer for that though.........;)
Hahaha! I thought I was the only person who was listening to Christmas music already! Actually I listen to it all year round! We should get together and have a Christmas in July sometime!

Mostly I just like them because of the awesome family memories they bring to mind :)

ReplyDeleteI completely know what you mean about family memories...my family actually has a record player and bunches of records...;) yep I know we're kinda still living in the past! Anyway though we have old Christmas records and I love them I think in big part because of the memories they bring when I hear them every year at Christmas!

ReplyDeleteour record player is broken... :( But we still listen to tapes! :D lol just we don't really have any Christmas music on tape, so then we listen to CDs and that's fun! :) And I have this really cool CD of Christmas music that this family in CT made and I really like it!! ;)
