Favorite Book Quote

So, how about it? Do any of you have a favorite quote from a book you'd like to share? It doesn't have to be your absolute favorite, just one of your favorites!!! :) (I have trouble choosing my absolute favorite in a lot of different areas!!!)
Anyway, one of my favorites is from The Two Towers by J.R.R. Tolkien:
Arise now, arise, Riders of Theoden!
Dire deeds awake, dark is it eastward.
Let horse be bridled, horn be sounded!
Forth Eorlingas!

  1. hmm...well I don't really have just one favorite!! But I like the one you put!! :)
I guess one of my favorites would be:
"And one more thing. About my name - Artemis - you were right. In London, it is generally a female name, after the Greek goddess of archery. But every now and then a male comes along with such a talent for hunting that he earns the right to use the name. I am that male. Artemis the hunter. I hunted you."
haha, I'll probably put another one if I comment on this again! :D
