Books

Out of curiosity, what has everyone been reading lately? At the moment I'm reading Christy by Catherine Marshall (nice first name! ha ha even though that's not the way mine is spelled...) I just finished reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis a few days ago. It was good, and I'm enjoying Christy, too.

    I've been reading Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen, Return to Alastair by L. A. Kelly, Tom Sawyer by Mark Twain, and I've been rereading The End by Lemony Snicket, and Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Incident by Eoin Colfer. Yep, I've been reading a lot. lol :D And I am enjoying them all!!! :)

    I am reading........ what's it called?... Oh yeah!! Artemis Fowl: The Opal Deception by Eoin Colfer, this other book that I don't remember exactly what it's called, this other 800 page book, and I am getting ready to start the Maximum Ride series by James Patterson!!! :)

Yeah and now I'm also reading "Doing Our Own Thing: The Degradation of Language and Music and Why we Should Like, Care" ;) by John McWhorter (it's a book about linguistics; i have to read one of his books to finish up the linguistics course i did this semester. :) Anyway it's good!! :)

    @Rejelle: haha yep why do you think it takes me so long to finish books? ;) I'd like to point out though that you are reading almost as many books as I am, and that non of the books I'm reading are 800 pages long, so... I guess you're busy too! ;)

    Right now, I'm reading "The Thief Lord" by Conelia Funke. I've never really heard of it before, but I saw it at the library and it looked good, so I checked it out! I just finished "City of Ember." It was pretty good!

    Awesome!!! City of Ember is really good book!!!!! You should totally read it Katy!!!!! :) and then read the books that come after it! :D And Jenah you should read the books that come after it too!! :) other then the Prophet of Yonwood... but that sorta kinda goes before Ember...
