Howdy People!!!!!!!!!! :)

So hia! I just wanted to post on Katy's blog....Since I never post on it!!! Almost never post on my blog but I did actually post yesterday! :D Anyway so I don't really know why I'm posting because I don't really have anything say. I'm just kinda going on sugar high without having any sugar!! (If that's possible!) It's probably actually a loss of sleep that is making me insane but w/e.
So I decided what to talk about! BOOKS! (the reason for my insanity at the moment...sorta) I love books! I have so many favorites it's pretty much impossible to chose my favorite but there always those books that I just keep reading over and over even when I know that the historical facts in them are off. (The Between Two Flags books by Lee Roddy. They're about these kids back in the American Civil War. I sorta call them my favorite books because I have half them memorized.) But anyway. So the book I was reading last night/this morning was Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins, it's the book in a very exciting trilogy, I can't decided if I like it or hate it but since it kept me up almost the hole night (the hole night for some people, okay a lot of people, like everyone in my house other then me) I probably like it. That's pretty much why I'm going crazy right now. But anyway, what are some of your favorite books?

  1. thanks for posting on my blog, Preciosa!!! :)
Yeah I'd say you were pretty engrossed in it if you spent the whole night reading!!!! ;) One book I like is "A Break With Charity" by Ann Rinaldi. :)

  2. you're welcome! :)
lol yeah! :D also it's the kind of book that you never know what's going to happen till it happens and it moves really fast!!! and so yeah that kind of book is easier to stay up late reading because wondering what's going to happen keeps you awake weather you're reading it or not!
Hm, never heard of that book... what's it about?

  3. wow yeah sounds really engrossing. :) "A Break With Charity" is about the Salem witch trials. It's um, like one of the best historical fictions I've ever read (probably partly because it's not entirely fictional!) and it's just good.

  4. Oh cool!! I read the Dear America book about the Salem witch trials ones, it was pretty good. But yeah I like historical fiction! :) At least most the time, but yeah it's definitely nice to have historical fiction that isn't all fiction! That happens a lot of times, and I mean their still cool but somehow it seems to loss something...you know what I mean?

  6. lol hi rene!!! ;) that's ok!!
Yeah, Ann Rinaldi's books are cool because she really does a lot of research so it's basically like a story that has nonfiction parts but she like uses her knowledge and creativity to fill in gaps and where she wants to, so yeah!!! Yeah historical fiction that's mostly fiction is good too (although I'm sure there are some that aren't that great) but it's like they're kinda like to different types of books.
