First of all, last time I looked at the temperature it was--UGH!!!--92 degrees out. Also we have a lot of humidity today.

On June 6th I will be singing Lion (partially by Rebecca St. James) for Children's Day at my church. It is a really cool song, and you can hear the recording on the Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia music CD. When I first started singing Lion not long ago (my mom helps me with my singing and accompanies me! Thanks, Mom!), I was not sure about the whole "singing rock music" thing--not that I don't like rock, it's just that I haven't sung any of it so intensively and by myself. At our church's contemporary service, we sing more contemporary music, so I have practiced some of these songs with my mom, and have sung them on my own while practicing. However, most songs I have sung on my own have been not really rock...I have sung a few Broadway songs, as well as some church songs, but this...
However, that said, Lion is coming along well and I will tell you all how it goes on June 6th.
